Opening paths for the future

Hinter einem Mikroskop im Close-up sitzt eine Person mit Gummihandschuhen und Objektträger.
An older man on the left of the picture, with a tablet in his right hand and gesturing with his left hand, explains something to a smiling young woman with a yellow folder and pen - seen from the front - and a dark-haired young man with a beard, notepad and pen. The three people are in a bright room. Another woman - apparently engrossed in a conversation - is also shown blurred in the background.

No teaching without research

Research enables a university to develop further and be innovative. Dedicated scientific work makes teaching attractive and future-oriented. Applied research provides new impetus for exchange with students as well as with business and society – and opens up paths for the future.

At Steinbeis University, applied research is conducted in all research areas relevant to the university. The scientific work and the results are an integral part of the knowledge transfer. In this way, we create consistency from research to the application of the results in studies and in the transfer projects. The university-wide internal dialogue as well as the exchange with national and international research partners are important elements of the research culture.
