The transfer-oriented Project-Competence Program at Steinbeis Hochschule is characterized by a unique, consistent practical orientation built on a solid scientific foundation – naturally, while ensuring academic standards.

Regardless of the study format our students choose – part-time, work-integrated, on campus, or online – Ferdinand von Steinbeis’ dual education concept is always implemented through a unique integration of theory and practice. Acquired specialized knowledge is tested in real-life situations, deepened, and thus enriched by practical experience.

A key objective of Steinbeis Hochschule is to sustainably and comprehensively foster the development of competencies among students. They learn and work in close exchange with the university’s lecturers and the trainers at our corporate partners.

The basis and prerequisite for each graduation project is a specific study project, known as the transfer project. Through practical engagement with company-relevant problems and the application of acquired specialized knowledge, students develop creative problem-solving and innovation competencies.

An effective translation of theoretical knowledge into practice is supported by modern methods of experience-based learning, such as action Learning.
