We can effectively meet them by equipping ourselves with the skills and competencies necessary to constructively deal with new things and find creative solutions that ultimately lead to new and relevant developments.
Steinbeis University is based on values that our namesake, Ferdinand von Steinbeis, exemplified: inspiration, innovation and action. Ferdinand von Steinbeis is considered the father of dual education; he attached great importance to the achievements of science for industrial progress and social life. As head of the central office for trade and commerce, he therefore developed concepts as early as the mid-19th century for the practice-oriented technology transfer that was implemented long after his time.
